Can I use my planetfitness.com login credentials to log in to the app?
Yes, you can use the same email and password you use to access your membership on our member website. If you haven’t created a password yet, create an account in the mobile app using the email you used to sign up for Planet Fitness, and you will be prompted to create a password.
I did not receive the verification email. What should I do?
You should receive the verification email immediately, however, in some cases, it may take some time to send. If you didn't receive the verification email from us, check out our suggestions below:
If you can't find the email in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder.
If you never received the email, come back to the app and request another verification email by clicking Re-send Verification Email.
If you requested another email and still can’t find the message, double check the spelling of your email address. If you've spelled your email correctly and can't find the verification email, we recommend starting fresh and creating a new app account.
I selected the "Forgot password" link, but I am not receiving an email to reset my password. What should I do now?
For security reasons, we can only send a “forgot password” link to the email that’s already associated with your account. If you do not receive a password reset email, try checking additional email addresses that may be associated with your app account.
If you cannot remember the username/email address associated with an app account, we recommend starting fresh and setting up a new app account. You will still be able to link your app account to your existing club membership by entering your membership keytag number along with a few other personal details.
I spelled my email wrong while creating my account, how do I fix this?
If you spelled your email address incorrectly while creating your account, we recommend starting fresh by creating a new account.
Do I have to create an account to access the app?
No, you can explore many of the features that we offer in the PF mobile app before creating an account.
Do I have to be a Planet Fitness member to access the app?
No, the Planet Fitness app offers free features like digital workouts and activity tracking for everyone, regardless of whether you are a member. In order to access some of these features, you may need to create a free account.
How do I access my account and membership details in the mobile app?
You can access all your membership and account information clicking on the account icon in the top left corner of the home screen.
How do I connect my club membership to the PF mobile app?
If you have created an account with the mobile app but we have not recognized you as a member, you can link your club membership easily by selecting “Link My Membership” in the account screen.
I want to link my PF club membership to my PF app, but am unable to find my membership barcode. Where can I locate the barcode to link my membership?
Can I upgrade my membership from the app?
If you are eligible for an upgrade, you can upgrade your membership by clicking Upgrade in the account menu and on the My Membership screen.
Why am I not eligible to upgrade my membership?
If you are a minor or have a Paid in Full membership, you are not eligible to upgrade online. For additional questions about changing your membership, contact your home club.
Can I transfer to a different club within the app?
You can transfer your membership online with just a few clicks (hint: you’ll need your Planet Fitness keytag number). A few things to be aware of before you transfer: You have to be a Planet Fitness member for at least 90 days before you are eligible to transfer, you are only eligible to transfer clubs every 90 days, you can’t owe any outstanding dues or fees at your current club, and Paid in Full memberships are not eligible to transfer clubs.
Can I cancel my membership within the app?
Our cancellation process may vary from club to club, so the best way to begin the cancellation process is to contact your home club location to confirm the cancellation policy. For most locations, you can send a letter to your home club requesting to cancel, or you can stop by your home club and cancel in person. Contact your home club.
Can I update my billing information or make a payment through the PF mobile app?
You can update your primary billing information in the account menu. You can also make a one-time balance payment in the account menu using a credit or debit card. If you have any questions regarding billing or membership, please contact your home club.
How do I check into the club using the PF app?
You can check into the club by clicking on the Check-in button on the Home screen of the Planet Fitness app.
Can I use the app to view my check-in history?
Your check-in history can be found on the My Journey tab by selecting Show All next to My Month. From there, click on the Show History link to view your check-in history by month.
To view your check-in history for more than the last 12 months, visit our Member Website.
How do I invite a PF Black Card® Guest?
To invite a Black Card guest, select Black Card Guest under the Benefits section on the Home screen. Then select Invite a PF Black Card® Guest and Add a New Guest.
Can I book a PE@PF session in the app?
Yes, you can book a PE@PF session, at your home club, in the mobile app by following the steps below.
Click on the account icon at the top right of the screen.
Click the My Club drop-down and select Schedule a Class..
If you’d like to book a session at a different location please visit the club page on the Planet Fitness website.
Note: If you do not see any sessions listed, it is likely because the club is not conducting any sessions at this time.

What is Scan and Learn and how do I access it in the mobile app?
Our Scan and Learn program has QR codes on our equipment in most clubs that provide quick tutorials for how to use that equipment. To access Scan and Learn, click on the “Workouts” screen and select “Tutorials” - you will see a scan icon in the top right corner of the screen. Then hold the scanner over the machine’s QR code and your tutorial will display.
What is PF+?
PF+ is our paid digital membership that unlocks access to hundreds of premium digital workouts right in our app. Access to PF+ is included with the new PF Black Card® membership, but can also be purchased separately within our app.
How do I track my activity with the PF app?
You can track your in-club or at-home activities on the My Journey tab by clicking Track Activity.
How do I connect Apple Health to the PF app?
You can connect Apple Health to the Planet Fitness app on the bottom on the My Journey screen or under Settings in the account menu.
How do I redeem my member Perks with the PF app?
PF members can access the Perks screen by clicking on “Perks” on the Home screen. From there, select on the perk that you are interested in and click Claim This Offer.

Refer a Friend
How do I refer a friend?
We make it easy to refer your friends in the PF mobile app! To refer a friend, tap on the Refer a Friend button in the Just For You section of the app. Alternatively, you can find a Refer a Friend button in the My Account menu.
Navigate to the Just For you section on the Home screen.
Click on the Refer a Friend button.
After you click, you will see the Refer a Friend landing page. Tap on the “Share This Deal” button to view your unique referral link.
Select an app of your choice to share your unique referral link with your friends, i.e. through SMS, email, Facebook, etc.
Once you’ve sent them your link and they’ve joined using your link, a free month will automatically be applied to your account for the next applicable billing cycle.
You will see this reflected in your app in the Joined Referrals section on the Refer a Friend page.
How many friends can I refer?
There is no limit to how many friends you can refer! Everyone that you refer gets a $1 down deal to join a club. However, as the referrer you can only earn up to three free months per year.
